Required Attributes
To get your Pipeline / Opportunities (advanced) dashboard, you need to provide a Tableau workbook file with (at least) the following 5 attributes (the name of your attributes can differ):
- Opportunity Id Opportunity Unique Identifier
- Account Customer/Prospect
- Opportunity Owner Owner of the opportunity
- Opportunity Type Type of Opportunity
- Opportunity Description Opportunity Description
- Opportunity Stage Opportunity Stage (according to your standards)
- Open Flag "Y" if the opportunity is Open
- Won Flag "Y" if the opportunity is Closed and Won
- Created Date Opportunity Creation Date
- (Estimated) Closed Date Actual Closed Date is the opportunity is Closed, else Estimated Close Date (Date used for time-series analysis)
- Amount Opportunity Amount

1st STEP: Create the initial Tableau workbook file
Create a Tableau workbook in which you map your Pipeline / Opportunities (advanced) data (whether it comes from: ERP, database, Excel, CSV file...)
